		<description><![CDATA[The snuggies were for the first time commercialized as the Freedom blanket. Selling under the brand name slanket, it was created and designed by Gary Clegg and it helped in creating his personal trial product by Ryan Lafayette in 1998 by the use of sleeping bag in Maine before the inception of snuggie. The Mother of Gary Clegg had made a blanket for her son using a single sleeve in order to protect the son from cold weather at the dorm room.  The son (Clegg) developed slanket with two sleeves. Over 20 millions sleeved snuggies have been sold in the US, Australia and Canada. The snuggie is sold under many brand news in the store; do not be confused by the various names because they refer to one product.]]></description>
